A Feast for Crows Edit

Tristifer became the rightful Lord of Lordsport after his father was killed by Euron Greyjoy and his elder brother died during the Siege of Moat Cailin. He is, however, passed over, and his uncle, Germund, is named the new Lord.

Tris travels to Ten Towers after Lord Rodrik Harlaw calls all those loyal to Asha to gather there. He meets her there, and declares his love for her, but is spurned. Despite this, he stands as one of her champions during the Kingsmoot on Old Wyk.

A Dance with Dragons Edit

Tristifer travels to Deepwood Motte with Asha as she contemplates her next move. He proposes that the Ironborn under Asha abandon Westeros and try to make a living for themselves as traders. He is captured along with Asha when the castle is taken by Stannis Baratheon. Despite not being a warrior, he fought bravely during the battle.

He is later ransomed and freed by Tycho Nestoris, who needs an escort to guide him to the army of Stannis, which is camped nearby to Winterfell.
