Slavers Bay
Slaver's Bay is a large and substantial inlet of the Summer Sea, located on the south coast of Essos some distance between the Free Cities and Qarth. The bay is several hundred miles wide and is enclosed by the Lands of the Long Summer and Valyria on its western side and the lands of Ghis on the east. The bay takes its name from the three great slave-trading cities along it's north-eastern shores, Astapor, Yunkai and Meereen.
