Orys Baratheon was the founder of House Baratheon. He is credited with slaying the last of the Storm Kings, Argilac the Arrogant. He took Argilac's place in the Stormlands and married his daughter.

Many believe that Orys was the bastard half-brother of Aegon I Targaryen because he worked closely with Aegon and was one of his finest commanders.
