I noticed you have upload a lof of images that come from A Wiki of Ice and Fire. A number of them I made myself. As stated in the copyright information on A Wiki of Ice and Fire, you are allowed to use to those images if you mention, with link, where they come from. This applies to all coat of arms that you are using.
For some other images (for instance this one) the rules are a bit different. On our wiki these images are shown, with permission of the artists. However the artists only permitted us to feature their art if we state that copyright remains with them and that the permission does not extend to 3rd parties. The goal in the last part is not to give us a monopoly but to make sure that the use is controlled by the artists themselves. If you would ask their permission they would very likely allow it. And as we have added links to the websites of the artists (or to their deviantart website) it will not be difficult to approach them.
I totally understand. Fan art is also not very often used on Wikia, so it isn't even very necessary to have the pictures at all, but if I add any more I will either link to the artist or ask the artist.

And for the images that were copied from us and were released under GNU you will add attribution and release the images under the same license? That is mandatory if you want to show them.Scafloc (talk) 14:47, July 12, 2012 (UTC)
I have no problem if the images are deleted. But this is not really my wiki so it is not for me to say. It is just that if my images are used I want the link and attribution. That is a bit the reward of the work. Scafloc (talk) 20:58, July 16, 2012 (UTC)
