Illyrio welcomes the Beggar King Viserys III Targaryen and his sister into his manse. He then arranges the marriage between Daenerys Targaryen and Khal Drogo and gifted her and Viserys with three petrified dragon eggs that would later hatch into Drogon, Rhaegal, and Viserion. Illyrio takes charge of preparing Daenerys for her wedding.
