The current head of House Waynwood is the widowed Anya Waynwood, Lady of Ironoaks Castle. Ironoaks is a stronghold of the Vale. House Waynwood swears loyalty to House Arryn. Lady Anya has three sons--Ser Morton, Ser Donnel, and Wallace. Harrold Hardyng and Cynthea Frey are her wards. She is one of the Lords Declarant who wish to remove Petyr Baelish as Lord Robert Arryn's protector. Lady Anya has greying hair, crow's-feet around her eyes, and loose skin beneath her chin. Despite this she maintains a noble air about her.
Carolei Waynwood was married to Ser Geremy Frey (who drowned). They had a son, Sandor, and a daughter, the above mentioned Cynthea. Carolei's relationship to Lady Anya is unknown.
