Duskendale is a port town off the coast of Blackwater Bay, northeast of King's Landing in Westeros. It is held by House Rykker.
Description
Duskendale has cobbled streets, and is surrounded by small fishing villages. Rocks protect it from the waves of the ocean. Dun Fort is the castle that overlooks the city, held by House Rykker.
History
Duskendale was originally held by House Darklyn. It was passed to House Rykker after The Defiance of Duskendale, a battle in which Aerys II Targaryen was held captive by House Darklyn and rescued by Barristan Selmy. After this, House Darklyn was destroyed. The entire city was thus handed to House Rykker.

- In A Storm of Swords, The Battle of Duskendale occurred, when a Northern army under the command of Helman Tallhart and Robett Glover. They were defeated by Lord Randyll Tarly.
- In A Feast for Crows, Brienne of Tarth goes to Duskendale to find Sansa Stark.
