Dragonstone is a castle and an island off the east coast of Westeros that is currently owned by Stannis Baratheon. It was important to the Targaryens before the start of A Song of Ice and Fire. In A Storm of Swords, Davos Seaworth was taken there and made Stannis' right hand after being rescued.
