Daenys Targaryen, known as Daenys the Dreamer, was a member of House Targaryen from before the War of Conquest. She was the daughter of Aenar Targaryen, a nobleman of the Valyrian Freehold.
History[]
When she was still a maiden, Daenys had a prophetic dream that foretold the Doom of Valyria. Her father, Aenar, relocated the family to the island of Dragonstone, the furthest point of the Valyruian control to the west. After the Doom came, House Targaryen became the last bastion of the Freehold.
Daenys was later married to her brother, Gaemon Targaryen who served as Lord of Dragonstone.
