Burton accompanies Victarion Greyjoy when he is dispatched on a journey to Slaver's Bay. When the fleet sails past the Stepstones, Burton knocks out four of Maester Kerwin's teeth for smiling at him. Burton suggests sacrificing Moqorro to the Drowned God after he is brought aboard the Iron Victory, worries that Moqorro was going to call a curse down on them.
