Brandon Stark, also known as Brandon the Builder, was the founder of House Stark who lived during the Age of Heroes. He owes his nickname to the fact he built Winterfell and The Wall . Some stories say he did it with the help of the Giants. Whether he built the entire wall or not is a matter of debate, but it is certain the he built portions of the Wall into several tall mountains to improve its structural integrity. He is credited with the creation of other famous constructions, most notably Storm's End.
