King Arrec Durrandon was one of the Storm Kings from House Durrandon. He was the grandsire of the last of the Storm Kings, Argilac Durrandon.
History[]
Arrec was the last Storm King to rule over the Riverlands, which was an area of land conquered by his ancestor, Arlan III Durrandon some three hundred years earlier.
King Harwyn Hoare used the mobility of the Ironborn longships to defeat the Stormlanders. Arrec's greatest defeat came at the Battle at Fairmarket. He twice tried to cross the Blackwater Rush and take back his lands, but failed. He was succeeded by his eldest son, Arlan V Durrandon.
